Redondo Beach Path of History will dedicate its sixth historical marker Dec. 2 at Vincent Park to honor the city’s oldest park, and the original street design inspired by the Chautauqua speakers circuit of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
A ceremony, titled “Vincent Park and the Lamp of Learning” will be held at 1:15 p.m. Friday at the park, 630 Vincent Street.
The marker is the first of its kind since 2009.
