Margolf-Schwartz
Margolf Wedding
Mr. and Mrs. G. Clarke Margolf of Palos Verdes Estates are pleased to announce the marriage of their son, Michael Stewart Margolf, to Claire Mary Schwartz on June 12 at the Stamford Yacht Club in Stamford, Conn.

Michael is a 1994 graduate of Palos Verdes Peninsula High School. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural and Managerial Economics at the University of California, Davis. While at Davis, he was captain of the UC Davis Rugby Team and was president of Theta Chi fraternity. He is Director of Credit Risk Management for Allonhill in Denver and is in an executive MBA program at the University of Colorado.

The bride’s parents are Kenneth Schwartz and Dr. Ellen Rapaport, and stepfather, Bart Rapaport. Claire graduated from King High School in Stamford in 1996. After studying in Madrid her junior year, she received a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from Tufts University in Boston in 2000. Claire is the AIPAC area director for Colorado, Nebraska and New Mexico.

The couple was married as the sun set with yachts in the background; a quartet on the lawn played Pachelbel’s Canon as they walked up the aisle. Claire was attended by her sister, matron of honor, Arielle Nurzcynsky, her cousin Alexis Castrovinci and three close friends. Michael was attended by four best men: Palos Verdes friends Stephen Heyn, Brad Allen and Robert Horton and by Justin Fornelli, who attended UC Davis with Michael. The bride wore a flowing gown by Priscilla of Boston. A reception followed the wedding at the Stamford Yacht Club.

Following their honeymoon in Fiji, the couple is now at home in Denver. PEN
