An estimated 200 witches, nearly half from the coven at the Olympus Board Shop in Torrance, set off from the King Harbor hand launch Saturday morning to bewitch boaters and spectators. The annual coven of stand-up paddlers was first convened three years ago by Erin Hanson, known on social media as Harbor Vibes. In addition to witches using their broomsticks as paddles, a scattering of Harry Potters and young gremlins circled the harbor’s main channel.
