Word on the Street – BeachLife hosts Tito’s Bloody Mary Contest
Bartenders Kerry McMenamin, and Natalie Bush, of Vista, on the Hermosa Beach Strand, were named winners of the First Annual BeachLife Bloody Mary contest, held Saturday, March 25. Over a dozen local bartenders participated in the Redondo Beach Education Foundation benefit, presented by BeachLife on the rooftop of the Sonesta Hotel in King Harbor.
Judging was based on five criteria: flavor, presentation, creativity, name and overall impact. Guests sampled creations by bartenders from over a dozen local bars, which ranged from traditional to bizarre
