Superintendent of the Redondo Beach Unified School District Steven Keller talked to parents, teachers and students Oct. 3 about the importance of education. “In the history of our country, high school education oftentimes was sufficient,” said Keller. “But we’re in the information age, and it’s so much more complex. Some information is good, some not so good. We need to be able to critically think, and do it well, even if you decided not to go to a university, having those skills is necessary.”
