Beach haunts – Hair-raising fundraising at Carnival

The annual Halloween Carnival at Hermosa Valley took place on Oct. 26. The event is put on by the Hermosa View and Valley Parent Teacher Organization, and draws students and parents from both of the Hermosa Beach City School District’s campuses. Students and teachers from each grade put on game booths and a haunted house, while a food court and live musical performances from students bands kept little ghouls occupied. There was even a projector and screen set up showing Game 3 of the Dodgers-Red Sox World Series. All funds raised at the event go to support the HVPTO.
