Volleyball: Former Redondo Union star Yaasmeen Bedart-Ghani helped the University of Texas women’s volleyball team reach the NCAA Division 1 semifinals for the fourth straight season Saturday recording eight kills and four blocks in the Longhorn’s 3-2 win over Florida. Bedart-Ghani, who was named to the All-Big 12 Freshman Team, and No. 3 Texas will face No. 2 Minnesota Thursday in a semifinal match shown live on ESPN2 at 4 p.m. from Omaha, Neb. The finals will be be held Saturday.
