Brooklyn “Bob” Brick Oven Pizza gets tossed for a loop

For nearly four decades, Brooklyn Brick Oven Pizza has contributed to local and school sports teams, and the broader community. Generations of customers have become part of the Brooklyn Brick Oven extended family. In September 2025, owner Robert Udovich was seriously injured in an automobile accident. The injuries led to a hip replacement last month. As a result, it has been difficult for Udovich to do the physical work required in running a restaurant. Chomper, his longtime canine companion, was also injured in the car accident, and may also need surgery.
