[imagebrowser=164]The Hermosa Beach Little League celebrated its 60th Opening Day Anniversary at Clark Stadium on Saturday. Hermosa Valley 6th Grader Clementine Greely opened the ceremony with a stirring rendition of the “Star Spangled Banner.” Then former Major Leaguer and current Fox Sports Dodger announcer Steve Lyons, a Hermosa Beach resident, called out the teams names during the traditional parade around the bases on the newly reconditioned East Field.Hermosa Beach Little League Opening Day. Representing Continental at the dedication were Bob Tarnofsky, Sherry Kramer and Bennett Talsky, who served as the construction manager. Little League commissioner Scott Manclark and contractor Scott St. John also helped get the East Field ready for opening day ceremonies.
