Polliwog Park boasts 18 acres, making it the largest park in the South Bay. It’s a perfect spot for afternoon picnics, families can visit the park’s pond and wildlife area.
Community-wide events are often held at Polliwog, including concerts and weddings. Residents can hold birthday parties or family reunions at one of the park’s three gazebos. Community members can also play golf at a 9-hole disc golf course, or bring their dogs to the 5,900 square foot dog run.
Polliwog Park is also home to the Manhattan Beach Historical Society cottage, which is filled with historical photos and memorabilia dating back to the town’s founding in 1912.
