A few hundred people gathered on Thursday to watch the annual Holiday Tree Lighting on the plaza. The event was sponsored by the Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau. Students with the Hermosa Beach Youth Music performed, and Santa Claus made his traditional appearance via a fire truck. The Hermosa Beach Woman’s Club provided refreshments.
