Prowler
Around 9 p.m. on Nov. 30, someone tried to take a photo of a woman through a window in her house on the 200 block of Kelp, according to police. When she noticed the camera pushed up against her window, she screamed and the suspect fled.
Gift card arrest
A man entered a house through an unlocked back door on the 500 block of 33rd Street but left when he saw the resident in his bedroom around 1 p.m. on Nov. 25, police said. The resident checked the neighborhood and found the suspect doing repair work at another house. MBPD investigated and arrested the suspect when they found a gift card from the house where the suspect was working on the suspect.
Burglary
Police said that jewelry was stolen from a bedroom in a house on the the 1300 block of 19th Street while someone was gardening in the backyard around 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 27. Police believe the burglar entered the house through an open kitchen window and left through the front door. ER
