Disappearing vehicle According to Manhattan Beach Police Department reports, a resident reported his car was locked and parked in his driveway on the 2400 block of Palm Avenue on the night of Sept. 5. When he returned, it was missing. Upon going to the police department to make a report, the owner noticed that it had been relocated around the corner with scratches and no signs of forced entry. Nothing was missing from the vehicle, but the owner found a marijuana cigarette on the dash board with a lighter. Smashed front door Unknown suspect(s) smashed the front door of a home on the 1200 block of The Strand between Sept. 4 and 9, according to police reports. No entry was made. Stroller theft According to MBPD reports, unknown suspect(s) stole two strollers off the porch of a residence on the 500 block of 1st Street between noon and 3 p.m. on Aug. 3. Arrest Officers responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle on the 2300 block of Ocean at 2:30 a.m. on Sept. 11. When the officers attempted to stop the vehicle, the car stopped and the passenger fled on foot.
