Beach Cities Sports: Flag football, golf, paddleboarding, running and more
Track Meet: The 5th Annual Mini Mustang Youth Track Meet takes place Sunday, Apr. 28 from 1-5 p.m. Kids from Kindergarten through 8 th grade are invited to try out various track and field events. There will also be a free adult open mile race. Proceeds benefit the Mira Costa Track Team. Visit miracostatrack.org/mini-mustang-meet. Flag Football: Prank Monkey’s Coed 4v4 flag football league is switching to Thursday nights on April 25. Teams must have a minimum of one female on the field at all times and players must play in two regular season games to be eligible to play in playoffs. Teams need to register with the City of Hermosa Beach either in person at 710 Pier Ave or online. Cost is $280 per team with a limit of 10 players. Once registered, email prankmonkeysports@gmail.com with your team name and list of members. Running: Registration is available for the Seventh Annual 5K Fun Run for the Oceans, held by the Manhattan Beach Roundhouse Aquarium Teaching Center. This year’s Fun Run will be Saturday, May 11 starting at 9:30 a.m. on the north side of the Manhattan Beach Pier.
