Chalk Art Challenge in King Harbor On Saturday, April 21, King Harbor Association will host the Eighth Annual Chalk Art Challenge at the Redondo Sea Wall, north of the International Boardwalk. Participants of all levels are invited to create a chalk art drawing to commemorate Earth Day. The first 100 children to sign up on the day of the event will receive free non-toxic chalk and a recycled and a reusable canvas tote bag that they can paint at the event. The Sea Lab mobile touch tank and Waterfront Education will be on site for visitors to learn about local sea life and waterfront activities. The event is free and open to the public. The Chalk Art Challenge will take place at 181 N. Harbor Dr., between Samba Brazilian Grill and the Sportfishing Pier. For more information, go to visitkingharbor.com/events.
