One week after Big Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2019, when Redondo Breakwall surfers Derek Levy and Randy Meistrell caught a “once in a decade” swell, with 30 foot faces, a second “once in a decade swell” came through. On Friday, Jan. 18 Breakwall became completely closed out. Brent Broza recorded the results when Levy and Meistrell found themselves too far inside, by several hundred yards.
