12:04 p.m. FINAL RESULTS: Steve Aspel is expected to be in the mayoral runoff, Jeff Ginsburg in the District 1 runoff, Bill Brand in the District 2 runoff, and Stephen Sammarco in the District 4 runoff. Other results are contingent upon provisional and walked-in absentee vote numbers.
According to last night’s provisional numbers, the nays had it for Measure A: 48 percent to 51 percent.
City Clerk Eleanor Manzano said overall voter turnout was 26 percent (of an estimated 44,000 registered voters), which is higher than most years.
Manzano will be in City Council Chambers at 2 p.m. to announce the final election results.
