One week after his Sea Hawk squad proved it could win on the road against a formidable opponent, Redondo showed it can pull off a come-from-behind victory. Trailing 17-7 at halftime, Redondo rallied to defeat visiting San Pedro 25-24 behind the arm and legs of quarterback Harrison Faecher. “It was a great ‘character inventory’ game for our boys,” Ballard said. “Credit goes to San Pedro for being physical and really putting it to us from the start. As happy as we are about the win, it is the way our team didn’t give up on each other, even when it could have been easy down 24-9, but instead showed great resilience and faith in each other by fighting on and turning things around.” The comeback began when Zane Zent recovered an onside kick to begin the second half which seemed to spark the Sea Hawks.
