Tom Seth took off in front of the 14th Street lifeguard tower, then streaked south a block to the Hermosa pier, where he threaded the pilings and came out on the south side. The ride earned him third place in the open mens division, but he also won the longboard division at the Spyder/South Bay Boardriders surf contest on Saturday, December 8. Photos
