An afternoon in the vineyard
Being at the Catalina View Gardens, just south of Wayfarers Chapel, is like being transported to Monaco’s Monte Carlo, except with a backdrop of acres of vineyards. This was the venue for the annual Chefs and Cellars benefit for the Palos Verdes Art Center. Hundreds of guests joined in supporting the arts while enjoying offerings from Plates American Bistro, PV Grill and Good Stuff restaurants. Silent auction items included vacation home getaways to Palm Desert, handmade jewelry and wine baskets. There was also a painting area for adults, with guidance from instructor Jennifer Siegal.
