Firefighter of the Year

Opening Art Exhibition

 Ocean Dreams: The Beach Life fantastic opens this Saturday at Manhattan Beach’s Creative Arts Center, with a free opening reception from 7 to 9 p.m.

From pop surrealism to modern Tiki culture to undersea landscapes, the exhibition features the work of Brad Parker Blu Rivard and Donjo.

The exhibition will run from Saturday, Sept. 25 to Thursday, Oct. 14. The Creative Arts Center is located at 1560 Manhattan Beach Blvd. in Manhattan Beach. For more information, visit www.citymb.info.

Lost and Found

This female Pitbull mix was found at the intersection of Rosecrans Ave. and Aviation Blvd. in Manhattan Beach on Tuesday, Sept. 21. She is currently being held at Manhattan Beach Animal Control where she awaits being found by her owner or adopted into a new home.
