CHAIRWOMAN OF THE BOARD — Longtime Hermosan Cindy Whitehead, a former pro skateboarder who now dresses top athletes for photo shoots and commercials, shows off a skateboard she designed for the Board Rescue Art Show fundraiser Friday night in Santa Cruz. Board Rescue helps low-income and at-risk kids get skateboards and equipment; more on the event can be found on Facebook.
