Petco is a ubiquitous brand in the United States; never mind the L.A. metro area, Petco is everywhere.
But that doesn’t mean each store doesn’t have its quirks. Petco manager Vincent Smith came to Redondo from one of the smallest, strongest Petcos in Southern California a few months ago, and he’s seeing a lot of potential.
“We’ve got a lot of friendly associates who are good to talk to and approachable,” he said. His crew, he says, are just trying to help anyone who comes in, whether they’re looking for cat toys, dog food, hamster cages, fish flakes, or anything else they need to keep their pet happy. “We’ve got a new team here, and we’re just trying to make this store better,” Smith said.
