Mike Grady, Independent’s general manager, has been with the company for more than 30 years, working his way up the ranks after starting as a service technician in 1985. During that time he’s dealt with hundreds of customers — some of whom are still bringing in cars that they’ve put more than 500,000 miles on.
“Fair pricing, honesty, and treating clients with respect” is what sets Independent apart from the rest of the auto shops in the area, he says. “We do the best we can to help ensure safe and reliable transport for them within a budget that they can afford,” whether or not their car is halfway to a million miles, or just creeping over 100,000 — “practically a baby,” he says.
