“The Soloist” was the soloist at the Norris Pavilion in Rolling Hills Estates on Feb. 20. No, not Jamie Foxx.
Due to the increasing popularity of Hermosa Beach open mic nights for musicians, Fat Face Fenner’s Fishack, Pier Plaza, HB now hosts an open mic night on Wednesdays.
Ortega 120 has been calling their popular tequila classes “Tequila University,” a happy little conceit that is suddenly more real than it used to be. El Camino College decided that the classes are actually informative enough that culinary students can get class credit.
