The snake who would not bend

The snake came to Robb Fulcher in the dark of night.
Fulcher was dreaming. In the dream, the snake appeared. He wasn’t your typical snake. He was a snake with a story to tell. Curiously enough, the name of the snake was something Robb had already thought about in his waking hours.

CIF basketball playoffs feature large field

Playoffs for the winter sports season begin this week with boys and girls basketball, boys and girls soccer and girls water polo teams battling it out in single elimination competition for the CIF Southern Section/Ford Championships. The girls basketball teams from Redondo and Mira Costa, who finished first and second in the Bay League, respectively, each earned first-round home games Thursday at 7 p.m.
