The Redondo Beach Yacht Club celebrated its 50th Anniversary during Opening Day Ceremonies on Saturday April 10, a day made for sailing with clear skies, 70 degree air and 15 to 20 knot winds.
The sun was out, the wind was offshore, the surf was a hollow two- to four-feet, and the heats were packed with future surf stars during the South Bay Surf League 2011 Championships at the Hermosa Beach pier on Saturday.
