Gia Hendricks charged with 11 counts of ID theft, theft and burglary

Gia Christina Hendricks, the alleged con artist who stole and charged about $9,000 onto a Manhattan Beach man’s credit card last month, was charged with 11 counts of identity theft, theft and second degree commercial burglary, according to a Los Angeles County District Attorney’s felony complaint.
Armed service members join students for their morning run [PHOTOS]

Students at Jefferson Elementary invited local servicemen to join them for their morning running club to mark Veteran’s Day on Nov. 10. The club meets everyday at 7:55 a.m and students run a track for points and fitness. So far this year the students have run more than 6,000 miles.

Ex-cops file $10.3 million claims against city
Former Manhattan Beach police officers Eric Eccles and Kristopher Thompson, who were fired in March for their alleged involvement in an off-duty traffic collision, each filed a $10.3 million claim for damages against the city of Manhattan Beach on Friday.
