Ten-year-old Manhattan Beach resident Tafton Thompson made his presence known to the local running community Saturday morning by winning the 10- to 14-year-old division in the Second Annual Roundhouse Aquarium Fun Run for the Oceans.

Killer Shrimp partners Kevin Michaels and Brad Doherty hosted an exotic car rally on Sunday to raise money for Jesse Billauer’s Life Rolls On foundation. Billauer was an aspiring pro surfer in 1996 when he injured his spine surfing.
