Lakers, UCLA enter partnership, Walton praises young team
The Los Angeles Lakers and UCLA Health announced their partnership in the Lakers’ new, two-story, 120,000 square foot training facility Wednesday morning, during a construction site press conference. New coach Luke Walton took the opportunity to praise number two draft pick Brandon Ingram and 7-foot-2 rookie center Ivica Zubac, of Croatia.
El Camino College’s new president Dena Maloney encourages business partnerships

This past February, Dena Maloney was named the sixth president in El Camino college’s six decade history and its first female president. Maloney keeps a copy of the 1947 Warrior yearbook in her office for reasons other than the obvious fondness for her father, a member of the College’s inaugural class. The yearbook is a reminder of El Camino’s future.
