Spotlight on Culture: PVE Foundation Renovates Neptune Fountain with support from Peninsula residents

photos by Tony LaBrunoLast May, while David McGowan, President of the Palos Verdes Estates Foundation was having lunch at the Ranch Market in Malaga Cove, a lady approached and asked if he headed up the non profit that restores city projects. McGowan, not knowing what to expect next, said yes. This chance encounter with Palos Verdes Estates resident Maria Peters started a journey that led to a $75,000 restoration of the iconic symbol of the PVE community, The Neptune Fountain. The unveiling
