The Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce will host a New Year’s Eve celebration on Pier Plaza in Hermosa Beach, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Monday and featuring Lou Giovannetti & His Big Band.
The celebration will include a New Year’s countdown on a 9 x 12 foot video screen at 9 p.m. Pacific time, with the “ball drop” from Times Square, New York. The video will be replayed at midnight Pacific Time.
The public is welcome to attend. Admission is free. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and visit the many restaurants and bars in Hermosa Beach.
