Likely the only California pet store chain to have had operated out of a former city hall, Centinela Feed’s growth since its purchase by the Nakagawa family in the 1970s is spurred by its variety of grooming, training and vaccination services for pet lovers in the South Bay and beyond.
The company prides itself on its community involvement, working with local animal shelters, and organizations such as the Torrance-South Bay YMCA and beach cleanup efforts along the entirety of the Santa Monica Bay. — DM
