Training men and women, Mitchell is certified in a numerous area and uses a synergistic approach designed specifically around a person’s specific goals and needs. This is accomplished through proper medical screening, body diagnostics, performance testing, and finally placement into the correct program for each individual.

Mitchell stresses the importance of all-around fitness.

“When I work with people, I try to interject another component than just the physical part,” Mitchell explained. “I like for my clients to know that there are things called emotional fitness and spiritual fitness. Many times when you work with a client, they gain confidence about life in general and things they are involved in outside the gym. When they get in shape physically, it transfers outside to the real world.”

Mitchell played numerous sports growing up, receiving a football scholarship to Missouri Valley College where he played quarterback. After entering the sport of bodybuilding, he won titles of Mr. Georgia, Jr. Atlanta, Mr. North Georgia and Mr. Atlanta. In 2011 at the age of 51, Mitchell won the Masters Division of the Excalibur Bodybuilding Championship.

Mitchell, along with his wife and co-owner Vicki, train clientele on an appointment-only basis.

“Winning this category is a complete honor because I know quite a few trainers out there and I would consider them to be better trainers than I am,” Mitchell said. “This is a complete surprise and I am going to use it for the marketing potential behind it.”
