Redondo Beach Veterans Day ceremony adjusts for government shutdown changes

While Manhattan Beach agonizes over how to control its upcoming 6-Man Volleyball tournament, with its $200,000 budget, $2,500 entry fees, and $100,000 projected loss, Bill Sigler and his Smack Sportwear hosted its 17 annual Smackfest Coed 4-Player. Teams paid $140 to participate in the Saturday, July 23, sold-out event in Hermosa Beach.
