Spotlight on music – Fourth of July at Nelson’s

The South Bay’s new wave, and rock alt band Max 80s kicked off the Nelson’s Sound Series at Terranea Resort over the July 4 weekend. Members are (left to right) Dave Donson, Dave Carr, Brian White, Jeffrey White and Mike Rubin. The Nelson’s Sound Series continues through August. Following is the upcoming band schedule: Friday, August 5: Anthem Road; Saturday, August 6: Rock Nation; Saturday, August 13: Identity Theft; Friday, August 19: Feed the Kitty; Saturday, August 20: Wais; Friday, August 26: 80-Do; Saturday, August 27: The Emperors.
