Over 1,000 swimmers completed the Dwight Crum Two Mile Pier to Pier Swim Sunday morning.Marc Strange, David Wicke and Cassia Cole wait for the horn to start the Oceans Prone 7 Mile paddleboard race Saturday morning. The course ran from Torrance Beach to the Hermosa Pier, and back. Cole, 15, of El Segundo was the first women finisher, and also was the first women finisher Sunday morning in the Velzy Stevens Pier to Pier Race.Collision Derby at Taplin Bell Relay Saturday night at the Hermosa Beach Pier.
