Every day from noon until sunset, Chuck Davis sits under the Pier Plaza clock in downtown Hermosa Beach. Davis has been sitting on the pedestal supporting the clock since Feb. 2019. Before that, he sat on a bench on the pier. Before that he sat on a bench in Noble Park, a block north of the pier.
