Painting the Town

A photo mock-up gives the general idea of a 20 foot-long mural of downtown Hermosa circa 1920 that the all-volunteer Hermosa Beach Murals Project plans to have painted on the north face of the municipal parking structure on Hermosa Avenue, a location suggested by Councilman Pete Tucker. “We’re going to make the city more beautiful one mural at a time,” the project’s Chuck Sheldon told the City Council.
