Tennis: Three players from the South Bay helped the Los Angeles Men’s Tennis Team place second at the USTA League Adult 18 & Over 4.5 National Championships held at Rancho Las Palmas Resort in Rancho Mirage. Andy Cohen of Palos Verdes, Roger Allen Yap of Redondo Beach and Kevin Griffin of Manhattan Beach were among the 12-person team that fell to Warsaw, Ind, 4-1 in the championship match after defeating Durhan, N.C., 3-2 in the semifinals.
