The 24th edition of the King Harbor Holiday Boat Parade took to the waters on Saturday, Dec. 12. Though the paddlecraft portion of the parade was scuttled by wind-related safety concerns, the boat parade itself went off without a hitch.

Revelers gathered at King Harbor Yacht Club after the parade’s conclusion to take in drinks, dancing and awards, presided over by Grand Marshall Denise Austin. Austin, who said that she was glad to be back in her hometown, thanked everyone for being in attendance before leading the crowd in “Happy Birthday” for one soon-to-be 10-year-old.
