The two decades old lobster festival at the Seaside Lagoon in Redondo Beach moved into the present this weekend, under new promoters Mike Bourchard and Dave Tardiff. Lobsters were still on the menu, but the lobsters were prepared by top local restaurants, including Sausal, Hudson House, Silvio’s Brazilian BBQ and Mamma D’s. Favorite local bands, including Tomorrow’s Bad Seeds (Friday night) and Hoist the Colors (Saturday night) shared the stage with popular regional bands, including Kaleo Wassman from Pepper (Friday night) and Save Ferris (Saturday night). Appearing Sunday, Yachtley Crew, Twisted Gypsey and Petty or Not (a Petty tribute band) play. For more information visit LobsterRock.com.
