The opening reception of Fresh Voices attracted close to 200 guests to Malaga Cove’s Winkworth Wealth Management Strategies Office on the afternoon of February 25. Exhibiting their works were Deborah E. Giese, Susan Whiting, Julie Robinson, Jinha Kim, Ann Johnson, Oana Gamlowski, Joe Devinny and Errol Gordon. Twenty-five pieces of art sold in just three hours, among them woodworks, sculptures and oils. Live music was provided by Down the Line and there were refreshments and a raffle. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet the artists themselves and donate to a good cause. One quarter of the proceeds were to The Bresee Youth Foundation. The closing reception will be on April 7 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 27 Malaga Cove Plaza in PVE.
