Super Bowl Sunday 10k/5k run/walk

The 47th Annual Redondo Beach Super Bowl Sunday 10k/5K Run/Walk starts at 7:30 a.m., followed by the Baby Buggy 10K (8:15 a.m.), 5K (8:30 a.m.), and the 5K Stroller Walk (8:45 a.m.).The Kids’ 1K and the costume contest are 7 a.m. and the Awards Ceremony is at 9:30 a.m. Start/Finish lines located at 200 Portofino Way, Redondo Beach. A two Day Health & Fitness Expo, held in conjunction with the Super Bowl Sunday runs, will be held Saturday, February 8, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Sunday, February 9, 6 – 11 a.m. Free to the public. Strategies for Restorative Sleep– via Zoom    

Cancer Support Community South Bay free program led by Mary Welch, an oncology nurse practitioner. Participants will learn how quality sleep can strengthen the immune system, enhance mental focus, and support weight management by balancing hormones. First Thursday Art walk, San Pedro

For nearly 25 years, the First Thursday ArtWalk in San Pedro has showcased local artists and business owners, bringing back visitors to the historic core of downtown San Pedro. Featuring more than 30 galleries and studios, San Pedro offers an unparalleled art district experience. Youth support group, allcove 

allcove Beach Cities is offering an 8 week support group for youths 12 to 18 who have parents who are divorced or planning to become divorced. There will be a group for parents at the same time in another room. The group meets weekly at the same time for 8 weeks, and the same people (usually 8-10 people) attend each meeting. It provides a safe, welcoming opportunity for participants to connect with peers who share similar experiences, process their feelings, and learn healthy coping strategies. 4 – 5:30 p.m. Fourth floor, 514 N. Hope Chapel will host an adult beach winter challenge volleyball tournament on the north side of the Hermosa Beach Pier.
