Mayor Wayne Powell presented the key to the city of Manhattan Beach and the “I love MB” award to Olympic silver medal winner Maria Sharapova Tuesday night. The Russian-American tennis player from Manhattan Beach thanked the city that has been “so warm” to her.
“Does this work for the meters out here?” she added jokingly, holding up the key.
