The annual Hermosa Beach Holiday Sandman contests attracted over two dozen families, whose entries ranged from “Headless Mickey” to “Harry Potter.” Parks and Recreation commissioners Jani Lange, Bob Rosenfeld and Laura Raymond judged the entries based on execution and creativity.
