Coffee and book discussion

Phil Klay’s “Redeployment” takes readers to the frontline of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, asking them to understand what happened there and what happened to the soldiers who returned.  Interwoven with themes of brutality and faith, guilt and fear, helplessness and survival, the characters in these stories struggle to make meaning out of chaos. Everyone is welcome to join the discussion.  RSVP’s are appreciated.  info@pagesabookstore.com or call 310-318-0900. Pages, 904 Manhattan Avenue in Manhattan Beach.
