Summer may be over, but fall produce is streaming in. Visit the Redondo Beach Farmer’s Markets at 309 Esplanade beginning at 8 a.m. or the Riviera Village Certified Farmers Market at Avenue I andS. Catalina Ave.starting at 3 p.m. for farm-fresh produce and help with your gardening questions.

Storytime

Walkers and Talkers Storytime for 1-5 year-olds will be on Oct. 27 from 1-1:30 p.m. in the Redondo Beach North Branch Library meeting room,2000 Artesia Blvd.The event is an engaging mixture of stories, singing and activities. For more information, call 310-318-0675 option 6.

Empty your medicine cabinets

Redondo Beach will take part in the DEA organized National Prescription Drug Take-Back campaign which is a collaborative effort with state and local law enforcement agencies to collect potentially dangerous controlled substances from medicine cabinets in all fifty states. The Redondo Beach drop-off site will be at 320 Knob Hill from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Oct. 29.
