Assistance League of San Pedro-South Bay 59th Annual Senior Recognition Event

Assisteens®, the teen auxiliary of the Assistance League® of San Pedro-South Bay, has had an eventful month, to say the least! The most notable occasion was the 59th Annual Senior Recognition Event on March 9th at the Palos Verdes Golf Club. Assisteens and their families raved about the gorgeous view and amazing food provided by the venue. Eight dedicated senior Assisteens were honored for their many hours of volunteer service to their community and the Assistance League. Together they have completed over 5,000 hours of service. Each one of them felt so much love from their fellow Assisteens and family members who attended and an immense sense of gratitude for the opportunities that the Assistance League has given them. Through the years, these senior members have developed a sense of community and personal responsibility, self-reliance, and poise, as well as leadership skills that they can utilize for years to come. Much luck to them in their future endeavors!
