Hills Are Alive 5k/10k

The race is returning for a 42nd year. Runners and walkers will meet at the historic Ernie Howlett Park in Rolling Hills Estates for an 8 a.m. start time. PVPLC Team Leader Training

Guided Family Walk

Opening reception

Art of the Peninsula

Lecture, “Painting with the Peninsula” featuring Don Crocker at 2 p.m. at the Peninsula Center Library Community Room. Crocker is a well-known plein air artist who has spent many years painting the cliffs and shores of the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Crocker will discuss changes he has seen on the Peninsula as he painted our coves and beaches over the years. The lecture will be followed by a reception. Los Serenos de Point Vicente is hosting an Open House to introduce community members to how they can become volunteer docents.
